State-of-the-Art on low-cost broadband technologies

The first version of the state-of-the-art analysis of the broadband access and infrastructure domain (WP3) is now available for download. In this document, we present a thorough study on the capacity and architecture of the different systems that can be deployed in emerging countries. We namely consider WiMAX, HSDPA, CDMA 1x EVDO, EDGE and WiFi mesh. A second version of this document will be made available by October, 2008, extending the study to a larger number of systems.
